Stuffed peppers

4 bell peppers (we used red and green)

1/2lb ground beef (browned)

1/2 cup white rice (uncooked)

1/3 cup tomato sauce

salt and pepper (to taste)

1/2 tsp paprika

1/4 white onion (add more if you like  or use less)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Shredded cheese

directions:

heat oven to 350 degrees, cut tops off bell peppers and de-seed. place peppers in a pan so they fit tightly together and add a small amount of water to the bottom of the pan. bake for 20 minutes until soft.

 In frying pan brown ground beef and onions. Boil rice for recommended cooking time, after rice is cooked mix  with ground beef add tomato sauce, and spices simmer for about 2 minutes remove from heat. Spoon meat mixture into peppers.I alternated layers of cheese and meat mixture. Top with cheese  place stuffed peppers back in the oven for 15minutes and enjoy!
